Biography: Dennis C. Carey specializes in the recruitment of CEOs and corporate directors for major U.S. corporations. This has given him a first-hand view of companies that have put in place robust CEO succession plans and then chosen wisely. He is Vice Chairman of Spencer Stuart, a global executive search firm, and he is also a member of the firm's High Technology Practice group. He holds a Ph.D. in finance and administration from the University of Maryland and was a fellow at Harvard University. He is a founder of the M&A Group, a consortium of acquisitive CEOs around the world, and a co-founder of the Director's Institute at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Dayton Ogden focuses on top-level recruiting and related Board counseling for a broad range of international clients. He is also a frequent commentator on key trends and issues affecting CEOs and boards, both in the U.S. and internationally. He is Co-Chairman of Spencer Stuart and has previously served as the firm's CEO and Chairman of the Strategy Committee. He is a board member of a NASDAQ biotechnology company and the American Business Conference, an organization that includes the CEOs of emerging growth companies. A graduate of Yale with a B.A. degree, he served in the United States Navy on a destroyer and as Officer in CHarge of a river patrol boat in Vietnam.
