Biography: Gloria Gilbert Mayer is a corporate consultant, trainer, and writer whose specialties include team building, communications, and managing in times of chaos. She is also president of the Institute for Health Care Advancement, a nonprofit educational foundation in Whittier, California.
Prior to becoming a full-time consultant, Gloria was president and chief operating officer of Friendly Hills HealthCare Network, a $600 million medical group in southern California. Her previous books include

He was vice president of development for Pacific Mutual Insurance Company and a principal with William Mercer, Inc., an international benefits consulting firm. He is currently a full-time management consultant with his own firm and also serves as educational director of the Institute for Health Care Advancement.
